The Toledo Bass Club Inc.

The purpose of the Toledo Bass Club is to improve the skills of members as bass anglers through fellowship and friendly exchange of expert bass fishing techniques and ideas; to promote and encourage youth fishing and a love for this great recreation; to stimulate a public interest and awareness of bass fishing as a sport and to obey all the laws and regulations of those waters we fish.

The club does have dues as well as fees for tournament participation.  Presently, the dues are $50 a year with tournament fees for the calendar year of 2008 being $200.  These fees are reviewed annually to be sure they are in line with the membership.  They are collected on three separate dates so it is easier to budget.  Presently, our club is only in search of new members with boats.  However, interested people without boats are encouraged to check us out. We hope that circumstances will improve and we will be able once again to offer membership to those without access to or own boats.  Our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM.  Normally, they are held at Bass Pro at 1000 Bass Pro Blvd. Rossford, OH 43640.

Fishing should be fun!

Our tournaments are competition, and there are bragging rights and prize money.  However, if you are a real fisherman you already know the real "prize" is when the line is straight, the drag is screaming and you are praying the other guy in the boat knows what the hell he is doing with a net.
